                                                        Why Public School?         Public school is a chance for students to get to meet people who are not like them. This creates a verity of viewpoints in the classroom and if teachers use it right this can be super beneficial. I once was reading a textbook for a college course and it was going over inclusion in the classroom. I will always remember this one quote from the book where it was comparing biodiversity in an ecosystem to inclusion on the classroom. They say how we praise and fight for diversity in an ecosystem but don't realize it is just as beneficial in a classroom.   Why Do I Want To Teach?     My name is Sadie Martin and ever since I was little I knew I wanted to be a teacher. I use to constantly play teacher with my American Girl Dolls. After I grew out of the playing teacher phase I started becoming interested in other careers but never loved them as much as teaching. This lead to a flipflopping of answers to the famous "What do you want to be when you grow up?" . When I entered my junior year of high school it became very clear to me that I wanted to do when I was older. My high school had lots of electives that were career based so that people could find out what they wanted to do for a career with no consequences.  I chose to enroll in the teacher electives and that was a choice that would change my life. I was in a class called Camelot and it was a program where juniors and seniors got to be teachers for pre school aged students. This class changed my life for the better.
